Sashiko is a quilting and embroidery technique from Japan.  It’s a running stitch that was historically used to mend and reinforce garments and textiles.  Today it’s used for decorative purposes.  It is simple to learn the beginning technique and you’ll enjoy the beautiful traditional patterns too!  The class will learn the stitch, start a sampler and learn about the history of sashiko.
